Don’t be Shy

Being shy is killing your career. Being good is not enough, the people have to know how good you are.

 

Here a tip if you are shy:

 

Try to finish some work or project before the week ends. Write an e-mail at Friday to your boss telling what you have done. If possible, attach proof.

 

Don’t wait for permission or a formal meeting to show what you can do. Do it weekly.

 

People will have track of your advancement on a regular basis, and your chances of a pay rise or advancement in your career will increase.
