Optimistic Bias

Updated: Apr 14, 2022

93% of people think they are better drivers than the average when just 50% can be. This is called optimistic bias: We are overconfident.

We tend to think that we are better than we really are in every aspect, not just driving, and it affects more to men as to women.

The best way to improve is to face the truth: In a 360° feedback, your colleagues, bosses, and team evaluate you. It brings you a clear view of your real performance and where you have to work harder.

I do 360° Feedback evaluations for my clients. You have to be brave to do it: The truth is the hardest thing to hear but is the starting point to become the best version of yourself and reach your goals.

Answer these two questions:

1. How many people do you know that overestimate themselves?

2. Do you overestimate yourself?

The second question is most important to you.
