Talk to the others

Once we have a vision of the world, around the age of 30 according to some authors, it is very difficult to change it. Your soccer team. Your political ideas. The people you like. The subjects that interest you. Your goals. Your habits. Nothing changes.

The problem: After 30 we can lock ourselves in a bubble of security and stop exploring. The world becomes a small, boring place with no possibilities.

My advice: Actively seek out people with a different view of the world. Dialogue with them. Ask them what their goals are. What do they value in life and at work. What their story is. Why they are the way they are.

Maybe those you don't understand, are the ones who can open a window for you to new possibilities.
